Specialist, not broad
Not a general consultancy with a cannabis practice. We work in a single application field and know its constraints.
About
We combine hands-on cultivation experience from a regulated environment with technical analysis, and bring both into associations that intend to produce professionally.
Associations in Germany face a task for which the country has few established specialist structures: building professional indoor cultivation under licence conditions and running it at a consistent standard. That is not a matter of good intentions but of expertise in several disciplines at once.
We work only in this field. Our advice is technical, it is tied to measurable criteria, and it stops where your association's responsibility begins.
Not a general consultancy with a cannabis practice. We work in a single application field and know its constraints.
Our specialists have worked in cultivation environments rather than only written about them. Whoever visits you has run rooms themselves.
Recommendations are tied to data and set out in writing, with expected effect and effort. Testable in the following cycle.
We do not perform cultivation activities and we do not manage operations. The division of roles is recorded in writing in every engagement.
Our technical know-how is informed in part by the hands-on experience of professionals working with The Roots Club in Malta, with a particular focus on genetics, product quality, distinctive terpene profiles and the continuous optimisation of professional cultivation environments.
Malta has regulated cannabis associations for several years. Cultivation practice has developed there under regulatory conditions, facing the same questions German associations face: cultivar choice under volume limits, consistent quality across cycles, environmental control in demanding ambient conditions, and preservation of aromatic profiles after harvest.
That experience feeds into our advisory work. It does not replace the assessment of the requirements applicable in Germany, which remains with your association.
The Roots Club is an independent association within the regulated Maltese environment. The club does not itself provide consulting services under our engagements and is not a contracting party towards our clients.
Engagements are carried by one or several disciplines depending on the question. Larger facilities therefore work with a technical team rather than with a generalist.
Cultivar strategy, propagation, phenotype selection and crop management across the full cycle.
Lighting, climate equipment, dehumidification, airflow, irrigation, fertigation and sensing.
Preventive strategy, risk reduction, harvest timing, and drying, curing and storage.
KPIs, batch comparison, interpretation of laboratory results, root-cause analysis and benchmarking.
The first conversation is about your facility, not about us. After it both sides know whether working together makes sense.
